August was a busy Rotary month and September won't be any different.

This newsletter not only includes a rundown of club projects and the two current District Rotary Foundation Fundraisers - Tree Peonies and T-Shirts - it also has some information on how to plant trees should your club accept RI President Ian's challenge.

Additionally, I know that many of you are looking for ways to help folks in Texas who have lost everything in Hurricane Harvey. I have included some preliminary information that has come to me from Rotary, Shelter Box, and the Red Cross. We will keep posting updates on our Facebook page and in future newsletters. The need there is so very great and it will be for years.

Finally, don't forget to check out the events listed in this newsletter. These include club functions and activities. Be sure to put on your calendar the One Rotary Summit on Oct. 21 and our Foundation Dinner on Nov. 4.
