A message from DGE Jeff Smith
President Elects, Assistant Governors and other “people of action” the program for this year’s event will prove to be fun, inspirational and instructive.  Rotary International is spending a lot of time developing a new strategy for the future.  We will discuss these changes throughout the program.  And, we will conduct our own “people of action” event Friday Afternoon from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Salvation Army on South Salina Street.

Thirty two members from the 4 Districts (half PEs and half “people of action”) will refurbish and paint an emergency shelter at the Salvation Army.  Chief zone motivator Jason Browne will inspire the work crew and film the event.  Jason will use the film Friday evening in his general assembly remarks on engaging young professionals.

The 16 “people of action” from our four districts will be emerging leaders who are not President Elects.  They can stay for the Friday night program and dinner.  Hotel rooms will be provided as required.  These costs will be covered.  Instructions for applying for this opportunity will be available soon.

Other topics will include motivation, membership, strategic planning, an optional tech lab and much more.  The full schedule will be available later in January.  This is a great opportunity to network with your peers from half of Upstate New York.
